always keeping the safety and comfort of our customers at the heart of what we do. <p><p><strong>The Division <strong><p><p>The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure. Transport Partnerships supports end to end contract management with the intent to optimise the end service delivery and experience of the customer and citizen. <p><p><strong>The Opportunity <strong><p><p>Right now, we have a great opportunity for a <strong>Senior Contracts Officer<strong> to join the team. The primary purpose of the role is to provide assistance and support in the procurement, contract administration & management for transport services to contribute to the overall customer experience. The position also plays a key role in the development, negotiation and ongoing contract management and governance of the services, for the provision of transport services that form part of an integrated, safe, reliable, customer-focused and efficient service that meets the needs of stakeholders.<p><p>The work location is flexible, base yourself in Sydney or any of our NSW regions. <p><p><strong>What you will be involved in:<strong>? <p><ul> <li>Assist in leading the day-to-day administration and management of service contracts with transport service providers to ensure that they comply with their contractual obligations, including performance standards, and provide cost effective, safe and efficient services to customers.<li> <li>Partner across boundaries both internally and externally, including participating in meetings and forums with service providers and industry representatives, to develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with transport service providers, other areas within TfNSW, and other key stakeholders to drive better customer outcomes, improved performance, efficiencies, and value for money. <li> <li>Develop and maintain records and update contracts and contract documentation as required to ensure compliance contractual requirements.<li> <li>Develop and draft advice, responses and appropriate correspondence to transport service providers and other areas within Transport for NSW on contractual issues to inform decision-making. <li> <ul><p>Please click <a href="s:free920472771.files.wordpress.com202105rom-cco-transport-partnerships-senior-contracts-officer-grade-7.pdf">here<a> to view a copy of the role description. <p><p><strong>About you <strong><br><strong> <strong><br>We are looking for experienced contract officers with a proven track record commanding positive outcomes in a complex stakeholder and business landscape that is undergoing continuous change.<br> <br>With highly developed written and verbal communication as well as problem solving skills, you will be a strategic thinker that is collaborative in your approach to resolve issues and highly accountable at all times. Possessing and ability to build rapport easily, it is essential that you have an understanding and knowledge of resolving issues that arise in managing contractor performance to deliver solutions which will allow effective business management while complying with contract management standards. <br> <br>The ideal candidates for this role will be adept driving strong governance that supports strategic alignment, risk management, resources management, and performance management, and transparency, timeliness of decisions, value delivery and benefit realization in a diversified organisation that continues to undergo structural, cultural and technological change.
