administering grants and recovering debt.<br><br>This role is targeted for the employment of an Aboriginal person in line with the Department’s Aboriginal Employment Strategy. <br><br>Learn more about us at: s:w.revenue. <br>The Taxes & Grants division within Revenue NSW is responsible for customer interactions for all tax and grant products. We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and innovative people who are focused on delivering on outcomes for our customers and our business.<br><br>We undertake assessments, revenue collection, compliance activities, customer enquiry and education services. We encourage lodgement of due taxes and we detect underpayment and noncompliance through audits and investigations.<br><br><strong>About the role:<strong><br>The roles are within our Customer Service, Taxes and Grants division within Revenue NSW. We are seeking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic, innovative and team-oriented people with a focus on providing excellent customer service.<br><br>We are looking for a passionate professional who use their initiative to administer legislation, ensure customers understand and are compliant with their tax obligations and to meet performance standards and deadlines effectively and efficiently.<br><br>This is an opportunity for you to be part of a diverse group where you can use your broad range of skills. To be successful in this role, you will have: <br>-Evidence of Australian Aboriginality<br>-Strong attention to detail and accuracy<br>-Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills<br>-Superior problem solving, analysis and decision-making skills<br>-Well-developed and accurate clerical, telephone and computer skills<br>-Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high processing team environment<br>-Experience in applying legislation, policies and procedures<br>-A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.<br><br>You will need strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal to maintain excellent internal and external working relationships.
