white;">About the role <span><b><span><p><br><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; ">As a leader in information technology and technology operations, you will develop and deliver your strategy to enhance technical services across our cluster. <span> <span>This is a new role allowing for a new direction to oversee our information and technology functions across our incredible department. <span> <span>Your role will be to enable the staff of DCS to utilise tools, systems, infrastructure, data and digital products ensuring they can continue to deliver on our commitment to <span style="color: rgb(32, 33, 36); background: white;">deliver excellence in customer service, digital leadership and innovation in government services, and safe and secure markets. You will ensure that you incorporate strong governance and security standards and identify solutions that will meet the needs of our agencies and allow for us to support our diverse and inclusive workforce. <span><p><br><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; "><span style=""><b>About you<b><span><p><br><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; "><span style=""><b>To be successful, you will demonstrate a unique combination of technical skills, experience and knowledge.<span>  <span>This may include: <b><span><p><br><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; "><b>Technology thought leadership – <b>ability to articulate the challenges of our agencies and develop solutions that are adaptable, adoptable and effective<li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; "><b>Empathetic Leader and Solutions focused - <b>as the senior executive in the organisation you will be effective at empowering people to deliver process improvement and technology based solutions in line with our operational goals. <li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; "><b>Experience in similar executive roles - <b>you will have experience overseeing solution design, systems, infrastructure, architecture, security and governance, enterprise applications and service delivery and project implementation. <li><li style="margin-bottom: 0cm; "><b>Engaging communicator - <b>You will be able to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders with an appetite for change.
