Employment Programs Manager

- Full-time - Maximum Term Contract to 30 June, 2023 (potential for longer term)

- Based in either Dandenong or Horsham

- Salary - $90,200 - $96,069 + 11% superannuation

- Fully maintained motor vehicle

- 12 Rostered Days Off

Are you interested in working for Skillinvest, a leading provider in employment, education and training services, that has been around for over 30 years, and provides prosperity for businesses, jobseekers, students and communities?

Due to unprecedented growth in the business, a new position has been created. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Employment Programs Manager to join our team which can be based in either our Dandenong or Horsham office.

In this role you will be responsible for oversite of one of Skillinvest's key Government funded employment programs. In addition, the Employment Programs Manager will facilitate new business development, targeted at infrastructure projects as well as other projects and tenders aligned to Skillinvest's core business and values.

To be successful in this role, as the Employment Programs Manager you will be required to:

- Manage the day to day operations of Government Funded employment programs.

- Be the main point of contact with Government Departments for all matters relating to these employment programs.

- Ensure compliance and milestones within program contracts are met.

- Undertake business development targeted at infrastructure projects.

- Actively pursue tender opportunities for future employment services activities.

- Develop and maintain relationships with Skillinvest stakeholders and major community partners.

- Lead and motivate department staff and actively contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.

About you:

- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager or a Manager within an organisation delivering Employment Services and/or;

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Development role.

- Proven experience in overseeing projects across broad geographic regions (desirable).

- Experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

- Demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities.
