About the Role Lead external relationships for development & operations of renewable energy assets Contract management & negotiation as owners’ representative Develop & deliver asset management plans As the Asset Leader for our Renewables business, your primary responsibility will be to manage the relationship between AGL and the Powering Australian Renewables Fund (PARF). This relationship represents significant strategic importance to AGL and is critical to unlocking large growth for AGL’s renewable generation portfolio. Reporting to the Wind & Solar Manager, you will be the single point of contact between AGL and PARF stakeholders where it is crucial you will develop ongoing strong relationships. In addition to stakeholder management, this role is responsible for all operational matters related to PARF assets and may include other assets within the wind and solar portfolio as necessary. Internally, this role will work in collaboration with the Renewables Operations, Renewables Engineering, Commercial Services, Wholesale Market Operations and Finance teams and O&M; contract services providers to ensure that the assets are managed according to best practice and are available to meet financial objectives. What you’ll be doing: Identify, assess and manage HSE risks associated with wind assets and support the continuous improvement of the Wind and Solar HSE risk Manage the delivery of maintenance services through Long Term Maintenance Services Agreement’s (LTMSA) with key contractors Represent AGL in dealings with external stakeholders relating to wind and solar assets Form strong working relationships with equity partners, financial stakeholders, regulatory bodies, market operators, and network service providers Provide input into the development of Asset Management Plans and Maintenance Plans as required internally and for external stakeholders Develop and prepare reports as required to effectively manage the performance of AGL’s wind & solar assets Provide exceptional leadership and lead the way in embedding and delivering to the Group Operations Leadership Expectations About You What you’ll bring to the table: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, or relevant significant experience Exceptional stakeholder engagement where you will develop strong working relationships emphasising shared goals and mutually beneficial outcomes Proven Project Management experience to participate in and/or lead successful projects Excellent communication and organisational skills to balance conflicting priorities and manage resources Proven ability to manage a generation plant with significant asset and maintenance programs.
