We are looking for a Senior technical leader who can lead our transition from traditional to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Site Reliability Engineering practices across a large enterprise spanning datacentre and cloud infrastructure technologies.



This role will be required to:

Work with various stakeholders and identify, scope, and solution improved infrastructure services Coach and mentor the technical teams to improve the overall expertise and skills of the team and improve service outcomes Continuously evaluate the existing software to identify areas of improvement and ensure architectural integrity as additional features are added Take care of the development of critical components and POCs for new technologies to be used Be the technical leader in the entire stack of technologies

As such, the successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated skills and experience in DevSecOps engineering, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation of infrastructure, coding & scripting Experience in Windows/Linux engineering and exposure to automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Powershell, GitHub, GitLab would be highly critical Ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and technical leadership groups would be essential Demonstrated success in leading technical and delivery teams in adoption of DevSecOps and SRE practices is highly desirable Demonstrated skills in orchestrating traditional and cloud infrastructure to deliver ongoing service improvements is highly desirable Experience in APIs, microservices architectures and development is highly desirable Experience with Monitoring tool like Splunk, Elasticsearch, Solarwinds, Graylog are highly desirable. A real passion to constantly improve and uplift existing platforms would be highly desirable Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science or related field.

Due to Federal Government client requirements, applicants must currently be Australian Citizens and be eligible to gain Baseline Security Clearance.
