About the role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Strategy & Innovation team as Innovation Strategy Lead, located in Barangaroo, Sydney.
The Innovation Strategy Lead is based in Pernod Ricard Winemakers’ headquarters and is a key contributor to our wine brand portfolio management and strategy. This highly collaborative role works closely with the Brand Team and wider Strategy Team to drive growth across our wide range of premium wine brands from Australia, New Zealand, Spain, and the US.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
PRW’s innovation pipeline management: identify portfolio gaps and opportunities in light of market and category trends; prioritise and maintain a live product innovation pipeline
Innovation process ownership and facilitation: coordination and continuous improvement of PRW’s innovation process including facilitation of recurring project gate-approval meetings with Leadership team
Measurement & Evaluation framework: review and redefine PRW’s M&E; framework and how it is applied in the innovation process; implement proposed framework and coordinate post-launch analysis and learnings
Prepare and present insight and recommendations relating to the execution of PRW’s innovation strategy and results to the executive leadership team
Drive a continuous improvement mindset in the enhancement of internal models, processes and frameworks relating to PRW’s strategy and innovation approach
What will you bring to the table?
You will have 3-6 years’ experience in either Strategy, Category Management or Marketing roles, be highly organised and have a can-do attitude. You enjoy working in cross-functional collaborative team environments, have a passion for process and be solutions orientated. This role also requires excellent communication and presentation skills with exposure to PRW Directors and C-Suite executives involved in the validation of the innovation process milestones.
