The key function of this role is to manage a structured internal governance framework, to ensure effective oversight of third parties compliance.
Oversee the consistent application of the HSBC Intra-Group third party governance, policies and procedures and mitigate any non-compliance Monitor and challenge the performance of GSC (Global Service Centre) and suppliers against SLAs Assure oversight of third Party risk by Business/Functions and ensure issues/incidents are escalated appropriately Manage Audit and Regulatory findings related to offshoring /outsourcing Act as subject matter expert to assist the Business in mitigating risk on their third party arrangements Ensure that third party activities and actions are in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures as contained in Group Instruction manuals and local regulatory requirements Qualifications
Experience in risk or control management Knowledge of third party management with a track record in managing a third party is desirable Significant experience in managing governance frameworks. Financial Services experience (preferred not essential) Deep understanding of globally leading and local regulatory requirements related to Third Party Management and Outsourcing Ability to translate global, regional and local priorities to direct local activities Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills Ability to make decisions including when under pressure and to tight deadlines Experience of working in highly regulated and complex international organisation Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Ability to balance multiple competing demands to find the best solutions Innovative and critical thinking High ethical standards
