For a new projects (buildings) based in Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Christchurch, BESIX Watpac is looking for Senior Technical Office engineers.
Your Main Tasks:
Ensuring that the site is supplied with all documentation, methods and material needed to carry out the works Preparing construction method statements and risk assessments Development of the job safety analysis Prepare temporary works drawings and site related design drawings Daily coordination with the subcontractors and assisting in the preparation of the work requisition for the subcontracted works Setting up of technical and commercial comparison sheets of offers received from the subcontractors and follow-up of the subcontracted works Follow-up of the permanent work design and coordinate this with the site Preparation of work requisitions for all required permanent materials and material submittals Follow-up of the deliveries and invoicing of these permanent materials
A degree as civil engineer in construction or similar Between 5 and 15 years of relevant experience within a construction company You identify with our core competencies by possessing an entrepreneurial mind, showing flexibility, being innovative and result-oriented while promoting teamwork You possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mind and you are client focused You're ready to settle in Australia
