About the Opportunity
As the Manager, Talent Acquisition you will lead the recruitment and recruitment operations of all ongoing, fixed term, project based, bulk or volume recruitment projects. In this role, you will use your strategic recruiting experience to collaborate with divisional managers on a project on a regular basis and proactively oversee and coordinate the entire recruitment process.
The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead the team to deliver against recruitment objectives and budgets and will providing insight and reporting as required. This includes supporting the Director, People and Business Performance on projects and advising senior management regarding continual process improvement for facilitating streamlined recruitment processes and systems in accordance with the People Delegations and best practice.
What we're looking for
Strong analytical and continuous improvement focus with demonstrated ability to initiate continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities where processes and procedures can be improved within a recruitment context. Influencing and negotiation skills with key stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective decision making across all stages of the recruitment process to a positive outcome. Proven experience leveraging recruitment best practice including software (e.g., Springboard). Strong understanding and experience using various computer software programs to generate high-quality correspondence, data, reports and charts. Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with an ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and influence sound judgements and provide strategic advice. Demonstrated experience of the development and implementation of HR policies and practices in the VPS environment. High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships, work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to gain cooperation and achieve outcomes, experience in the preparation of high-level reports, briefs and recommendations.

A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field An employee may be required to undertake other duties or functions consistent with their classification and skills
