The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of Victorians into the future. We also lead the Victorian Government's response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Working with our partners, we oversee Victoria's health system including mental health, ageing and aged care and preventive health.

The Senior Communications Officer is responsible for providing strategic communications and publications advice, in line with the agency's communications strategy.
Part of the Communications and events team, you will work closely with all SCV teams to manage the release of key publications, clinical guidance and other resources, programs and initiatives. You will be the quality checkpoint for all external communications, and a production house for writing, editing, laying out publications.
A natural writer and exceptional proofer who can translate complex information in plain English? A go-to guru on laying out publications to make them accessible, and easy to read/scan? A self-starter who shows initiative within a busy team environment?
