The Position



Position Title: Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed)



Classification: IB68-IB72

Employment Status: Ongoing - part-time positions



Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe patient/client/resident-centred nursing care Monitro the impact of nursing care regarding individual health & functional status Provide support and comfort, assisting with activities of daily living

Personal attributes:



Ability and desire to support residents and their families A dedication to the nursing profession, specifically in aged care Passion or interest in dementia care and people with cognitive impairment

The Team



The Integrated Care Services Division offers a diverse range of programs and services which provide high quality person centred care to patients, clients, residents and consumers in Bendigo and across the Loddon Mallee Region. Services are provided in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.



Our services include; Aboriginal Services and Diversity, Allied Health, Community Programs, Health Promotion, Outpatient Rehabilitation Service, Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy Services, Rehabilitation & Geriatric Medicine, Palliative Care, Residential Care Services, Transition Care and Volunteer Services.



In addition the Executive Director Integrated Care Services has professional responsibilities as the Chief Allied Health Officer As such the CAHO is focused on leading and supporting the allied health professional workforce to feel valued and empowered to provide exceptional, quality care.

Selection Criteria Essential: 01.Current registration as Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia.

Essential: 02.Demonstrated knowledge of the ANC competency standards and Codes of Practice / Ethics

Essential: 03.Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to aged care.

Essential: 04.Demonstrated knowledge of current issues, trends and research in clinical nursing, particularly in the area of aged care.

Essential: 05.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

Essential: 06.Demonstrated critical and reflective thinking skills to contribute to clinical decision making.

Desirable: 07.Computer literacy and/or willingness to develop computer skills

Desirable: 08.Sound interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-focus.

Desirable: 09.Ability to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team as well as independently.

Desirable: 10.Ability to prioritise, set goals & objectives and meet time-lines.
