12 month contract Leading oil and gas operator Perth based /8 hours per day
Brunel are recruiting a Contracts Engineer to support contract management activities focused around end to end EPC contract management.
Management of ITT and tender evaluation process. Development and implementation of EPC contracts in time. Management of EPC contracts including management of changes. Lead communications/negotiations with contractors/vendors. Manage necessary approval process. Achieve cost savings through the contract management process Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. At all times,
ensure the welfare of personnel and protection of assets & environment. Manage contract tender stage including prequalification, ITT preparation, issue, receipt, opening and assessment of tenders and approval process. Negotiate with Contractor on tender qualifications and exceptions during tender evaluation. Ensure contracts are monitored and regularly reported to Contracts Manager to identify potential future variations. Ensure commercial and contractual correspondence with Contractor is efficiently handled. Ensure changes to contract/scope of work are managed in accordance with Company procedures Manage necessary approval process Develop documents for internal and external approval process Monitor vendor performance and maintain positive vendor relationships. Ensure market trend investigation and benchmark activity within the industry is efficiently performed. Manage contract documents in the system. Ensure confidentiality of contract documents is maintained. Manage bank guarantee, parent company guarantee and other contractual deeds. Coordinate on contractual, commercial, taxation/duties, AIP, insurance, IR, insurance, HSES and legal issues with relevant internal stakeholders Contribute to contract close-out and close-out reporting. What you need to bring: 5+ years of experience of preparation/development/management of end to end EPC Contract including development of Contract Strategy, preferably in Oil & Gas business In-depth understanding of EPC contracts. Excellent communication/negotiation skills. Excellent written skills. Ability to multi-task. Anything Else?
