Recycling Feedback Officer, Sustainable Monash, Infrastructure and Environment
Casual Band 3, $37.26 per hour, plus superannuation
Positioned onsite in the designated Clayton Zone. When required positioned at the Monash Operations Centre, Notting Hill. The Recycling Feedback Officer undertakes a variety of tasks to deliver responsive and quality inspection, investigation and data collection of kerbside collection bins, litter and illegally dumped waste. Reporting to the Project Officer, Sustainable Monash and/or Zero Waste Champion and/or Senior Sustainability Officer.
About the position:
The incumbent of the role will be responsible for
Inspection of kerbside collection bins, illegally dumped waste and litter
Monitoring, evaluation, data collection and education relating to kerbside collection bins, litter, and illegally dumped waste
Maintaining Environmental, Health and Safety standards
Providing quality customer service, while communicating respectfully to all members of the public and colleague’s
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A proven interest in sustainability, waste minimisation and/or litter prevention
A licence for approval to drive in the state of Victoria
The ability to liaise and develop ongoing working relationships within a diverse internal team
The ability to educate the community in relation to waste minimisation, litter prevention and landfill diversion
Customer service focus with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible work hours
Satisfactory Police Check
Approved Drivers Licence for use on Victorian Roads
