The Role:

As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team, overseeing the Housekeeping operations within the hotel, and ensuring Occupational Health & Safety standards and practices are maintained. This fast-paced role is suited to candidates with a strong customer service background and an eye for detail, with a focus on safety.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

- Supervise the work of all Housekeeping personnel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas and back of house;

- Develop and motivate the Housekeeping Team to succeed;

- Plan, coordinate and communicate the daily activities to the Team;

- Manage staff rostering;

- Work with suppliers to meet the needs of the housekeeping function;

- Manage costs and wage costings within budgetary requirements;

- Monitor inventories for operating equipment, linen and uniforms to ensure stocks are maintained;

- Communicate and liaise with other Departments when necessary.

About You:

To be successful in this exciting role, the right candidate will have:

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar position;

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;

- Strong attention to details;

- Leadership skills with a passion for working with people;

- A can-do attitude to work;

- Understanding of budgets, cost control and financial reports;

- Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for guest satisfaction.
