Collie Senior High School (SHS) is seeking a motivated individual to join their friendly team as a Teacher - Health and Physical Education - STEM. Applicants who are qualified and keen to teach in other learning areas, such as Technologies and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), are strongly encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate strong working relationships with both staff and students, display good pedagogical knowledge and skills along with highly developed collaborative skills. Collie SHS is situated in a very engaging country town just over two hour’s drive south of Perth with great access to the Southwest. There are a wide variety of outdoor activities available in and around the town and it is an excellent starting point to explore this part of the State. Government Regional Officer Housing (GROH) is currently available and the position also attracts a district allowance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a quality school within the Southwest.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

Employees will be required to :

Employees will be required to :

- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and

- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
