Senior Project Officer

Duration: 2 x Temporary full-time appointment for a period up to 30 December 2021 with the possibility of extension.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Officer to join the Quality Teaching Practice Unit and its commitment to deliver on the executive priority to amplify the best practice of outstanding teachers.

The Senior Project Officer reports to the Principal Project Officer and is responsible for supporting the achievement of innovative solutions of the Departments Strategic and operational objectives. As a vital role within the department the Senior Project Officer will manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of diverse complex projects, ensuring completion within required deadlines.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project officer with:

- a background in project management

- extensive experience in the use of all MS programs

- both written and verbal communication skills

- interpersonal skills

- experience in stakeholder management

- strong leadership skills and an assertive attitude

Your role will be vital in supporting the business unit in delivering and achieving its executive priority commitments. You will be highly collaborative, self-motivated and will thrive working as part of a high-performing and driven team in representing the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional way.
