Assistant Employee Relations Officer, Fire and Rescue NSW

Ongoing Full Time

Grade: Clerk Grade 5/6

Salary Package: Package up to $104,867 pa. Package includes salary range ($85,744 pa to $94,610 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Location: Greenacre

FRNSW is one of the world’s largest urban fire and rescue services and is the busiest in Australia. Our overriding purpose is to enhance community safety, quality of life,

About the Role

This role will provide technical assistance in relation to a wide range of industrial/employee relations matters as well as provide administrative support to the work unit as a whole.

Key knowledge and experience

- Knowledge and understanding of industrial/employee relations and employment legislation, instruments, public sector policies, practices and procedures and of major industrial relations/employee relations issues

- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply employment related legislation, awards and enterprise agreements, policies and procedures.
