which reflects the community and the customers we serve.<p><p> <p><p>Our organisation – Transport for NSW – is comprised of nine integrated divisions that focus on achieving community outcomes for the greater good and on putting our customers at the centre and our people at the heart of everything we do.<p><p> <p><p> <p><p><strong>About the team<strong><p><p> <p><p>The role works as a certified survey specialist, develops, implements and manages compliant, best practice survey policies, process frameworks and services through a team of specialised resources to minimise and control survey risks across a range of TfNSW multi-modal infrastructure projects.<p><p> <p><p> <p><p><strong>The opportunity <strong><p><p> <p><p>The role works as a certified survey specialist, develops, implements and manages compliant, best practice survey policies, process frameworks and services through a team of specialised resources to minimise and control survey risks across a range of TfNSW multi-modal infrastructure projects. Responsibilities will include and not be limited to:<p><ul> <li>Manage and deliver comprehensive, compliant and best practice a range of specialist engineering, construction and geospatial products and services, including laser scanning, 3D modelling, engineering and construction surveys, and complex control survey networks through a team of internal and external expert resources to deliver a range of TfNSW multi-modal infrastructure projects.<li> <li>Lead legislative, systems, certification and safety compliance through regular training and audits of survey resources, and act as an expert witness for TfNSW on accurate and precise measurement validation processes to mitigate against financial penalties.<li> <li>Manage technical and legislative risk on TfNSW projects to preserve state survey and cadastral infrastructure aligned to legislation and TfNSW processes by researching emerging survey technologies and methodologies to implement improvements in processes and applications which maintain survey services at the forefront of technical excellence.<li> <li>Champion technology transfer in utility locations between TfNSW and industry by developing and implementing best practice and training industry in TfNSW work practices, policies, procedures and Australian Standard AS 5488.<li> <ul><p> <p><p>Please click <a href="s:talent832612951.files.wordpress.com202104infrastructure-and-place-technical-services-senior-surveyor-survey-infrastructure-uss10.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here<a> to view a copy of the role description.<p><p> <p><p> <p><p><strong>About you <strong><p><p> <p><p>You will have experience in managing and delivering quality and industry standards within a high volue, time critical, constantly changing operational environment. Championing Surveying as a critical activity, you will keep abreast of current and emerging best practice, legislative and technology changes to provide timely and accurate advice which impact survey operations across TfNSW projects. Expeirence with managing people along with knowledge of working with Australian Standard AS 5488. <p><p> <p><p> <p><p><strong>Salary and Benefits<strong><p><p> <p><p>This is a permanent full-time opportunity to play an influential role in how Transport for NSW engages with our contractors and leave a legacy for the people of NSW.
