PERSOLKELLY is one of Australia's largest and longest serving recruitment providers. Delivering both quality temporary and permanent options, we specialise in the recruitment of Professional, ICT, Government, STEM, Management and Executive talent.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Officer for our Government client based near to the Rockingham area. This will initially be a short-term assignment (2 months with potential for extension). They are ideally looking for this person to start ASAP.

Payrate: $44 + super

Hours: Monday to Friday 38 hours per week

Start date: Tuesday 27th April

End date: 8 weeks with potential extension

Location: Rockingham surrounding area

The Role

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

* Providing Generalist IR and ER support to the business

* Management of complex HR cases as required

* Taking ownership of a portfolio within the business

* Identifying and understanding customers' requirements in order to source for the most suitable candidates (across both blue and white collar)

* Creating/ posting job adverts in correspondence with the client needs

* Screening applications and conducting phone interviews

* Building new, and nurturing existing relationships with key clients

* Attending candidate interviews with hiring managers

* Creating offers for successful candidates

* Following company processes (police check, medicals, VEVO check)

* Ensuring 100% compliance to company policies are adhered to

* Providing feedback to candidates in a timely manner

* Completing multiple administration activities with have a 'can do' attitude

Experience Required

* MUST be available to start immediately

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar recruitment role (ideally internal recruitment) both white- and blue-collar recruitment highly desired.

* Must have proven experience following strict processes and adhering to company compliance

* At least 2 years' experience liaising with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs

* A positive and pro-active approach to work

* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and think on your feet

* Good time management and planning skills

* Ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly

* Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills

* Ability to multitask
