The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is now available for a skilled clinician to join the opportunity rich environment at MPS on a 6 month fixed term basis based in our Eight Mile Plains head office in QLD. This role may be extended or made into a permanent position in the future.

Reporting to the Head of Health Care Operations, “ The Implementation Consultant – Clinical” will be working within the project team, delivering high quality project deliverables and meeting customer expectations throughout Australia. Using “Best Practice” implementation methodology, you will work in conjunction with the Healthcare operations department.

You will be a clinical specialist with a tertiary qualification in either technology or business/ health. MPS have a range of software products and services, that we deliver to our customer base and these are the tools that you will be delivering. We have a preference for a nurse who has worked in the field with clients, training them on the use of specialist software.

Key Responsibilities include:

Responsible for high quality delivery of assigned projects activities including but not limited to:

- Customer Training; Delivery of MPS Medica Software- Medication administration software to customers based on industry best practices.

- Training a variety of staff including nurses, Personal carers' and managers

- Working with clients to define the business processes, content and structure of their proposed database and to tailor to meet the customer needs.

-  Performing business area process, report, interface and custom development analysis to confirm high level requirements as defined in MPS methodology.

- Ensuring the project timelines and tasks are met as required and to escalate any delays as soon as they are known – keeping all invested parties are kept abreast of delays.

-  Ensuring your industry knowledge is up to-date and that you are across all new features of products and services offered and that you are able to implement the solution end to end.

Mandatory knowledge and skills:

- Demonstrated experience delivering software implementation projects

- Demonstrated experience in software consulting and training

- Demonstrated capacity to gather and document customer business requirements

- Knowledge and experience of the health, residential and community services sector is highly desirable

What we are looking for

- 5+ years’ relevant experience in Healthcare, or Aged Care

- 5+ years in software implementation/ training and delivery to clients

- Well-developed understanding of the Aged Care and Pharmacy sectors

- Clinical Qualifications, registered nurse preferable

- Strong compliance standards

- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and win trust of key internal and external stakeholders including Aged Care providers and registered nurses

- Highly developed time management and organisational skills

- High attention to detail with proven examples of accuracy and quality assurance.

- A self-starter, who thrives in a team environment
