Located in the beautiful beachside town of Ettalong and right opposite the beach, Mantra Ettalong Beach combines ocean views with the relaxed atmosphere of a friendly seaside village.

Mantra Ettalong Beach is currently seeking a motivated professional with a passion for service to join our dedicated Front Office Team as an 

Assistant Manager .

About the Role:

As an Assistant Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to the following:

- Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered to.

- Lead by example when attending to guest requests. Be proactive and resourceful.

- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our Guests are positive and productive.

- Respond to enquiries, complaints and challenges presented by Guests.

- Provide guidance, training and leadership to all team members.

- Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues.

- Responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members including in emergency situations.

The Successful Candidate:

You are positive, proactive and a quick thinker. You thrive in a fast paced environment where every day is different. In addition to this you hold: 

- Minimum of 2 years Front Office experience in a Hotel environment essential with experience at supervisory level or higher highly regarded. 

- Demonstrated ability to prioritise ensuring that all requirements of the role are fulfilled whilst ensuring company policy and procedure is adhered to. 

- Demonstrated experience managing, training and motivating people

- Genuine commitment to providing exceptional customer service ensuring each Guest leaves with a memorable experience. 

- Naturally confident with the ability to approach people and initiate conversation. 

- Outcome driven approach, striving to achieve excellence in your field.

- Unlimited Australian work rights with the ability to work across a seven day roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays (shift times range between 7am and 11pm across everyday of the week).
