Western Health seeks the services of a suitably experienced and motivated Environmental Services Professional to take control of our ESD Operation at Footscray Hospital.
You will bring to this role a belief that people are at the core of everything we do. You will have demonstrated ability to interact with, engage and influence a diverse range of people to achieve outcomes. This will be a key focus of how you operate.
With accountability for the full range of services delivered by our Patient Services Assistants and cleaning workforce, you will have an eye for detail and an ability to manage within clearly defined budgetary guidelines.
The key activities of this position involve:
- Coordinating cost effective staffing rosters for the provision of these services
- Staff supervision
- Authorisation and monitoring of leave and pay
- Employee performance management
- Recruitment and induction of staff
- Scheduling and delivering staff training
- Review of work schedules and adherence to legislative and statutory requirements
