What is a Media Executive?
A Media Executive works at the intersection of art and science. This is where ideas turn into reality through implementation planning. They are also students of dynamic and programmatic investment methods. They are charged with giving birth to media plans and then injecting life, energy and results into those little coloured boxes.
A Media Executive is as comfortable working face to face with media as they are with the facts and figures inside our technology. This is where the detail is planned out and executed. They move with one foot in the moment and the other 3 steps ahead. They are on the pulse, plugged in, sweat the small stuff, are commercially aware and in tune with their clients business.
What will you be doing?
As a Media Executive at Bohemia you have significant responsibilities, with the core focus on creating the media plans/blueprints and managing the buying and negotiation of client investments across all media.

Ensure a deep understanding of your clients business and how media can meet those needs Implement all buying and take responsibility for optimizing & delivery across all channels. Ensure deadlines are met and client expectations are effectively managed. Responsible for all aspects of media investment including schedules, reports, IO's, finance loading, MI's and confirmations (using the support of the Co-ord to achieve these on all clients). Ensuring accuracy of co-ordinators duties i.e..: BCC loading, specs, and MIs are accurate prior to sending to any external parties. Evaluate media responses and provide clear feedback to the media on all proposals (propped only). Ownership of all dynamic channel reporting - including optimisation, recommendations and insightful comment/learnings meeting all deadlines. Ensure that invoicing procedures (including loading, pro-forma checking and budget recs) are accurate and completed to deadline. Strive to fully understand the digital landscape embracing research, training and thorough knowledge of industry tools & processes (i.e. AdWords, Nielsen answers). Create value to clients through effective buying strategies. Escalate any issues or concerns to the Media Manager in a timely fashion. Continuously provide vision and views on the ever-changing communications landscape to clients and agency stakeholders Effective and professional liaison with partner agencies, being cognisant of their requirements (especially creative agencies) Understand and achieve all Client KPI objectives including Service levels, Value, reporting etc
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:
Minimum 18 months agency experience Advanced skills in MS Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge and understanding of all media channels Negotiation and presentation skills Solid expertise in industry specific software and tools including BCC, Etam, Eram etc. Experience in Nielsen Products, TV Map and knowledge of Roy Morgan Asteroid Proven ability and experience in all facets of media planning and buying Intimate knowledge of the Australian media landscape across all media, trends and opportunities Proven ability to apply management skills; providing guidance to the co-ordinator and managing up to Media Manager
