An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Systems Administrator to join Law In Order as an integral member of the IT Team. This is a challenging and dynamic role that would be suited to someone who loves rolling up their sleeves, loves a challenge and is hands-on with their in-depth sys admin knowledge and experience.
The main purpose of this role is to be the primary contact for all Windows and Application systems in relation to system availability, provisioning, support, backup and maintenance. Reporting to and working closely with our Global Head of Infrastructure Manager. This is a hands-on role where you will be required to:
Act as a Microsoft Server and Hyper-V / VMware expert and contribute to company projects and initiatives Provide guidance and technical specialist support to the IT team on how to resolve highly technical issues Develop and monitor systems daily for the purposes of meeting business operations requirements including backups and DR Diagnose, investigate and respond to system critical incidents Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible security breaches Manage SQL server administration, backups and database tuning Manage LANWAN environment and investigate and troubleshoot issues Assist the IT Management Team and act as a 2IC in the absence of Infrastructure Manager This is a 6 month maximum duration contract, full-time. An immediate start is available.

Minimum 3 years solid experience working as a Systems Administrator within a Microsoft AD network environment (VMware, IIS, WSUS, SQL, Hyper-V, Exchange, O365 and Datacentre servers) Minimum 3 years hands on experience with LAN/WAN networking (Cisco and Dell) Experience with hardware/infrastructure implementation Advanced knowledge of O365 (E3) complete administration Advanced knowledge of Datacentre SAN Storage (Dell, HP and Azure) Experience with Relativity User Documentation would be of great benefit but not essential Proven experience resolving complex IT issues Experience in technical leadership and giving IT advice and guidance Excellent interpersonal skills Strong time management skills Team player and positive attitude
