It’s an exciting time in Medtronic's Service and Repair business as we are building a commercial team to grow service revenue.

Remote Sales is an innovative sales approach at Medtronic where an office-based product expert is responsible for growing revenue against a sales revenue target.

The role will source, develop and close sales opportunities across a select range of Medtronic serviceable products. It is responsible for the business development of their products and accounts while effectively deploying marketing strategies and campaigns.

A Day in the Life

In this role, you will:

Serve as primary contact and subject matter expert for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and all the relevant goals and metrics. Build relationships and trust with customers while promoting the company's products and services and managing customer concerns. Sell post-warranty service agreements in accordance with the commercial strategy. Maximise service revenue by generating revenue from non-active customers with assets across a select range of Medtronic serviceable products. Retain existing customer contracts and ensure on-time renewal of existing service agreements. Work as a partner and build solid relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance our assigned product offerings and refer on internal leads when appropriate. Practice professional and effective territory management including organization and administration in supporting Medtronic sales, business development and marketing strategies

This is a unique role that cuts across Medtronic’s large and diverse product portfolio and has strong visibility within the Australia and New Zealand business.

Must Have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Science related disciplines, is essential ?2+ years of Sales and/or Remote Sales experience working in a ‘team oriented’ target ?driven, corporate sales environment Be sales savvy with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to ?build rapport quickly with internal and external stakeholders Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and the ability to pick up technical ?information with ease High energy with a resilient and positive ‘can do’ attitude

Nice to Have: ?

Experience working with (SFDC) or similar CRM system Proficiency in MS Office Suite
