The Role

We are seeking a professional and proficient EL1 Services Team Manager to join our high performing team within the Maritime Cross-Platform Systems Program Office (MCPSPO), based in Sydney. The EL1 Services Team Manager will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role within the Services Team of the Commercial Division. The position requires excellent leadership, interpersonal, analytical, governance, procurement and financial management skills.

As the EL1 Services Team Manager, working under broad direction, you will be responsible for leading a team that manages a suite of contracts that provide product “services” that our customers can access.

You will need to provide oversight and governance of “Services” contracts regarding operational compliance, assurance, contract administration and regulatory compliance oversight. You will also be responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships and will be required to identify relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies and practices to achieve outcomes.

About our Team

The MCPSPO within Maritime Systems Division, is the lead agency for delivery of cross-Class sustainment services and advice across the maritime environment. MCPSPO sustains and manages a range of complex military systems and supplies, through an extensive network of industry partners, domestic and off-shore. Our operating environment is complex and challenging, and requires exceptional contract and relationship management skills. MCPSPO is comprised of three functions, including Commercial, Sustainment and Engineering cells. The teams work in a complex, fast paced environment as part of a diverse and inclusive Branch environment that encompasses a variety of knowledge, skills and experience within a supportive hierarchy. To be successful in your role as an EL1 Service Team Manager, you will need to demonstrate the following:
