As a Graduate Project Manager , you will be involved in a variety of activities, including:

Assisting and supporting the Project Management Office with a wide range or work, spanning the entire Project Management discipline

Supporting with some Commercial aspects when required

Using your verbal and written communication skills to liaise between project management, the project team and line management

Assisting with the operational aspects of ongoing projects

Contributing to reviewing projects as they occur, such as the project budget and schedule, and helping to prepare status reports

Applying your skills to understand project issues and discover potential solutions to ensure high quality work and client satisfaction

Collaborating with project managers, line managers and clients to solve problems and develop new ways to monitor the progress of projects

At interview, we will be looking for tertiary qualified graduates to demonstrate:

Extraordinary problem solving skills and ability to think laterally

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse clients and stakeholders

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to collaborate with a consultative approach

A resilient and innovative mindset, ready to take on and solve real world problems

To be eligible for our 2021 Graduate Development Program you must be due to complete your university degree qualification in Electronic Engineering by the end of 2021, or have completed your degree within the past 12 months, with no more than 12 months’ work experience. You also need to be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance, requiring you to be an Australian citizen. Applications for the QinetiQ Australia Graduate Development Program will close on Sunday May 2nd 2021.

What does our recruitment process look like once applications have closed?

Our applications are open for 1 month. Following this, CVs will be reviewed with phone calls to prospective candidates taking place in early May. If successful, you will be invited to a virtual interview, taking place in late May into early June. Offers for our February 2022 program will be made to successful candidates accordingly.
