Your Team:



The Data & Decision Science team aspires to be the best analytics and decisioning team in the world at engaging customers by solving complex customer, product & channel problems through multi-channel strategies to deliver value for the Retail Bank.





We are the pioneers of leveraging 'Next Best Action' marketing decisioning technology and the Group's data to anticipate and meet our customers' needs in an orchestrated, consistent and meaningful manner.

Your Responsibilities:



Work collaboratively in cross-functional scrum teams with DDS, Digital (DOT), Marketing, Product and various technical teams, you will be responsible for leveraging the Group's decisioning assets to design and deliver Next Best Experiences and capabilities that transform how we personalise customer engagement across channels - the right message to the right customer, at the right time, through the right channel.



Use strong commercial acumen and business analysis experience to identify and scope out complex business and technical problems. Working with cross-functional teams, you will gain agreement across a wide range of stakeholders and drive delivery of business and technical solutions.



Support the Senior Manager and Executive Manager with creation, management and delivery of backlog and roadmap of personalisation capabilities and Next Best Experiences.



Manage the day to day priorities of cross-functional teams consisting of various delivery teams within DDS to deliver and optimise initiatives in line with project expectations and timelines.



Empower cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes in a safe, sound and secure manner by identifying challenges and removing them in a timely manner.



Effectively communicating requirements to stakeholders, managing conflicts, issues and changes in order to ensure that stakeholders and project team members remain in agreement on solution scope.



Identification and delivery of new or enhanced capabilities required to deliver Next Best Experiences to our customers across all of our channels with a key focus on Digital as the gateway.



Work closely with the Senior Manager and Executive Manager to develop a data-driven and digital first culture across the team.



Champion our DDS personalisation strategy, decisioning capabilities and performance across RBS stakeholders, including preparation and presentation of packs, co-ordination of education sessions and other communication opportunities.



Your Skills & Experience:



Risk Mindset - All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.



Extensive relevant experience in using data and analytics to drive business results, preferably in the Financial Services sector



Ability to navigate complex systems and large data sets



Proven ability to identify, capture, manage and drive complex business requirements for technical and business process solutions



Proven project delivery and management experience preferably with digital channel focus



Proven problem solving, planning, analysis, project management and decision-making skills



Advanced communication and engagement skills, Stakeholder management and communication, with a collaborative style and ability to articulate complex analytical requirements and findings in common non-technical terms



Proven ability to deliver business and customer outcomes through cross-functional teams



Prior experience with customer journeys, marketing campaigns, or customer decisioning



Flexible approach and ability to deal with change and develop new ways of working to drive continuous improvement



Experience with working in Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban environments



Commercial experience with data exploration & analysis tools (primarily SQL)



Degree-level qualification in relevant technology or business discipline



Project management tools such as Confluence, Jira, Visio and Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office suite



Technology project and solution delivery experience preferred



Experience with Adobe Analytics preferred



Experience with campaign management or customer decisioning systems preferred



Prior experience with Pega will be highly beneficial



Agile experience or certifications preferred
