We work on exciting projects and we?re looking for an Office Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) who enjoys a challenge, to join us in our Sydney office. The Office Manager at Tigerspike will be a support system for the Tigerspike team as well as being a cultural ambassador and ?go-to? person internally.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office environment and liaising with key suppliers and other external parties and be responsible for the coordination of the onboarding of new hires and the incoming and outgoing Tigerspikers.

Tigerspike in Sydney is located in Surry Hills. It is our biggest office and as all our offices around the world, it showcases some amazing talent. Not only do we like to challenge ourselves but we love to have fun and celebrate our achievements. The team in Sydney loves exercising their mind and body to ensure they stay healthy physically and mentally. We do this by boot camping, lunching together, planking, meditating, playing DND, participating in our legendary Friday Quiz. We help each other with challenges by collaborating and always being there for each other. We love the environment and do what we can to make our office a better place to work in. Last but not least we love sharing our office with our fur babies and look forward to our daily doggo visits!

You will


Full reception coverage; answer/field calls, door entry, meet and greet clients and visitors

Maintain office supplies and stationery, order where necessary

Administration, announcements and other duties as required by all staff

Procurement of office supplies and activities as required. Monthly reconciliation of procurement and spend


Maintain the office appearance to a high/professional standard including liaison with cleaners and other general repair and maintenance

Execute events within and external to Sydney office

Office environment; planning, research, execution

External business rentals and hot desk management

Drive initiatives that positively impact the (earth) environment and reduce the Sydney teams? environmental footprint


As the Sydney office?s cultural ambassador, be a key driver of office harmony, communications, and celebrations

Promote existing and suggest new cultural initiatives e.g. sports, recreation, events, team building

Plan, execute, and support social activities and events to help create a close and engaged office

Organise, budget, and assist preparation of weekly staff lunch, Friday quiz, and drinks

Organise annual Tigerspike Away Days and other activities as required

Positively influence employee participation in events and cultural activities

Actively collaborate with Tigerspike global offices on key activities

Drive initiatives that positively impact health and wellbeing, for example by using the monthly resources offered by Access EAP

Human Resources

Onboarding of new team members: Liaise with local Desktop Support Engineer to ensure that all prerequisite new-starter tasks have been completed ahead of commencement - including account setup, new machine procurement, desk allocation, welcome email, Netsuite training etc

Own the New Starter welcome and onboarding - including welcome email, office introduction, and tour, presentation of welcome decks, and Department Lead introductions

Suggest improvements to the onboarding process

Secondments (on hold): Secondment coordination from receiving the request from the Head of Delivery to sending the 'welcome to Sydney' email to the secondee and welcoming them to the office

Own all the resources provided to incoming secondees Review the results from the secondment survey and act on the feedback
