The Cabinet, Communications and Corporate group is responsible for providing core whole of government and departmental services. The group is responsible for overseeing Cabinet management, strategic communications, engagement and protocol (including behavioural insights), corporate governance, public sector reform and the department's corporate services.
The Public Sector Reform Division is responsible for leading and coordinating work on issues relating to the performance and reform of the public sector, including workforce reform, outcomes and evidence reform, and public sector innovation. The division supports the Premier, the Minister for Government Services and the Secretary as the head of the Victorian Public Service.
The Remote Working Transition project is focused on post-crisis reform opportunities for the Victorian Public Sector workforce. A key objective of the project is to support a whole of Victorian Government (WoVG) approach to transitioning into a hybrid or dispersed working environment during the COVID Normal period.
Hub Hosts will contribute to the successful design and delivery of the VPS Suburban Hubs project trial. The project sits within the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) Public Sector Reform Division, alongside the Remote Working Transition (RWT) project, in designing and implementing transformation to deliver the best outcomes for new ways of working across the VPS.
Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, Hub Hosts will play an integral role by fostering a friendly and inclusive environment and Hub community spirit at trial sites.
The successful candidates will be customer-focused, empathetic, enjoy meeting people and making connections as users will come from across the VPS, bringing different perspectives to the Hub. As such, it is important for the candidate to proactively engage with Hub users to continually identify and initiate operational adjustments to improve Hub user experience.
