Due to ongoing project success in our Transport market our geotechnical team in Melbourne have a new opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to help support the growth of the business in the region. Reporting to the Ground Engineering Leader for our Sourthern & New Zealand region, the purpose of this role is to undertake geotechnical design and analysis,
to manage and undertake geotechnical investigations, factual and interpretative reporting under the supervision of senior personnel in the team. Supervison and support graduate staff. Here's What You'll Need You will have experience in providing technical input and client focused solutions across a range of projects that may include geotechnical design, technical report writing, managing discipline teams, site investigations, engineering geology and slope risk assessments. You will enjoy working in diverse team which are focused on providing technical solutions to our clients projects. Key requirements for the role Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology. Familiarity with site investigation techniques Geotechnical reporting skills Geotechnical Software (gINT, Slope/W, PLAXIS etc) and analysis/design techniques Good verbal and written communication skills General familiarity with geology of Melbourne area. A comprehensive understanding of HSEC requirements and industry approaches Jacobs. A world where you can.
