The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of TAFE NSW Customer & Stakeholder Relations team to be based in the West Region. The Team Leader, Aboriginal Student Services is responsible for providing high level support, supervision and leadership of quality customer service within the Aboriginal Student Support team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Aboriginal Engagement, this position is responsible for improving the outcomes for Aboriginal students, build effective relationships and drive the development of Aboriginal student initiatives within the West Region.

Additional requirements

- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

- Aboriginality (Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act of 1977). Candidate should present proof of Aboriginality as part of their application.

- Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and building rapport

- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
