<strong>REQ212762<br > <strong>Closing Date: Monday 5 April, 11.59pm<strong><span><span><p> <p style="font-family: Arial"> <p> <p style="font-family: Arial"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>Where you'll be working<strong><br > You will be working in the System Management Branch within the Patient Experience & System Performance Division of the Ministry of Health, a diverse and dynamic team with broad ranging responsibilities. <span><span><p> <p style="font-family: Arial"> <p> <p style="font-family: Arial"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The System Management Branch manages the NSW Health Performance Framework. It monitors performance of local health districts, specialty health networks and pillar organisations against annual service agreements, provides strategic advice on issues and obstacles that may adversely impact on health system performance and identifies performance issues. The branch is also responsible for coordinating the management of reportable incident briefs, root cause analyses, coronial inquests and Health Care Complaint Commission incidents to ensure continued deliverance of safe and quality healthcare services. <span><span><p> <p style="font-family: Arial"> <p> <p style="font-family: Arial"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>About this role<strong><br > The Principal Project Officer will report directly to the Executive Director, System Management, and will be responsible for day-to-day project management across the branch. This will include coordinating the risk, quality and progress of projects to organisational standards and ensuring project milestones are delivered on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.<span><span><p> <p style="font-family: Arial"> <p> <p style="font-family: Arial"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">The Principal Project Officer will manage the development and evaluation of best practice policies, programs, projects, and activities for the Ministry of Health, public health organisations, and related government agencies to support the achievement of NSW Health’s objectives in relation to health system performance. <span><span><p> <p style="font-family: Arial"> <p> <p style="font-family: Arial"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>What you'll be doing<strong><br > The successful candidate will be required to:<br > • Provide project support andor lead project initiatives across both teams of the branch (Performance & Patient Safety First). <br > • Lead the implementation and evaluation of identified strategies.<br > • Provide timely, high level strategic advice on the planning and delivery of the projects, including, high level briefing papers, discussion papers, reports, submissions and responses to information requests and related correspondence. <br > • Represent and negotiate with internal and external stakeholder organisations in relation to their contribution to and delivery of key elements of System Management initiatives and future direction. <br > • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including the preparation of a high level project plan (project objectives, deliverables and key milestones) and ensure regular monitoring and reporting of performance. <span><span><p> <div> <p style="font-family: Arial"> <p> <p style="font-family: Arial"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><strong>
