<ul><li>Full time, ongoing position<li><li>Armidale, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo or Queanbeyan location<li><li>Salary from $128,089 plus super (Clerk Grade 1112)<li><ul><p>The Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) is looking for a <strong>Manager Internal Platforms <strong>to work within and across multi-disciplinary teams, and manage a small team of Application Developers to develop, support and enhance internal business applications based on SharePoint,
Workplace and other platforms and low-code technologies.<p><p> <p><p><strong>Background:<strong><strong> <strong><p><p>The DRNSW was formed in 2020 as a central agency for regional issues. The department works to build resilient regional economies and communities, strengthen primary industries, manage the use of regional land, oversee the state’s mineral and mining resources and ensure government investment in regional NSW is fair and delivers positive outcomes for local communities and businesses.<br><br><p><p><strong>About the role:<strong><p><p>The successful applicant will be responsible for:<p><ul><li>managing day-to-day operations to ensure the best solutions are designed, developed and delivered to meet business needs and the strategic direction of the department.<li><ul><ul><li>managing the monitoring, review and implementation of business applications and take steps to ensure appropriate governance and compliance protocols and procedures are in place for the management of vendors.<li><ul><ul><li>engaging and managing external contractors, ensuring service levels are optimised and in line with the operational requirements and the Cluster Service Catalogue.<li><ul><ul><li>implementing appropriate technical standards and quality assurance practices to ensure system development (both internal and third party) is in line with organisational policies, procedures and standards.<li><ul><ul><li>analysing current and emerging issues, preparing reports, providing input to the development of business applications, contributing to the development of a strong and effective team culture and leading staff in the provision of support to the Executive leadership team.<li><ul><ul><li>providing high quality advice and guidance concerning issues management, including provision of strategies to proactively and effectively manage critical issues and stakeholder relations to ensure the achievement of agreed deliverables.<li><ul><p> <p><p>Applicants must demonstrate their experience implementing software solutions, and extensive knowledge and proven functional skills in SharePoint, Workplace by Facebook, SAP, Power BI and CM9.
