Australia has embarked on the most complex transformation of Air Traffic Management (ATM) in its aviation history, a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a unified solution to Australia’s future ATM needs. The OneSky Australia Program is an unprecedented partnership between Thales, Airservices Australia and The Department of Defence to develop a new integrated civil and military air traffic management system



About Your Role



The Software Integration Engineer will leverage your expertise in DevOps and automation within a highly complex systems environment at scale.



- Participate in the integration, block testing of incremental system releases, and continuous integration in accordance with the schedule set by the relevant manager



- Contribute to the system configuration (branching & merging), data management, system release management and system administration



- Provide technical support and the setup of environments to developers, testers and end users especially during validation and verification activities



- Assist with defining, implementing the methods, tools and scenarios for assessing system performance (loading and response times) and capacities.



- Provide system and networking expertise useful in the design of new sub-systems, components and products.



How About You?



- Experience in development of real time and distributed systems.



- Expertise in DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (Jenkins & Gradle.)



- Good level of knowledge of and experience with a Linux Operating System in a complex environment



- Experience in Testing, Automated Testing, Interface Testing and Integration Testing



- Programming languages (C, ADA, Java, C++, shell scripts)



- Experience in scripting (Shell, Perl, and/or Python)



- Binary and source level debugging techniques and tools knowledge within large and distributed network computer systems



- Experience with Ansible & Virtualization.
