Development of the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs program for SEASTAR CHEMICALS ULC and

subsidiaries. Utilize experience in chemistry and regulatory affairs to ensure that all SEASTAR CHEMICALS

ULC and subsidiaries labels, safety documentation and departments meet all regulatory requirements.



- Assist with the development of CofA formats, analytical data reporting procedures, specifications and labels for all SEASTAR’s and subsidiaries products.

- Ensure that all SEASTAR’s and subsidiaries labels and safety documentation meet all regulatory requirements.

- Assist with the quality assurance approval of CofAs, product naming protocols and lot number generation.

- Assist with SEASTAR’s technical marketing literature and presentations.

- Updating SEASTAR’s and subsidiaries Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Standard Operating Procedures and safety documentation.

- Assist Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager with SEASTAR’s technical service.

- Follow existing guidelines and suggest changes where necessary to ensure a safe work environment.

- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

- BSc in Chemistry

- Two years experience in QA/RA, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment

- High degree of computer literacy (advanced MSOffice, CorelDraw, website design and database management)

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

- Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems


Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
