Part Time Casual Teachers - Film and Television-000086GS

TAFE NSW is looking for creative and motivated individuals with current industry knowledge and experience in Film, TV and Visual Effects to join our team of teachers on a casual basis. Located primarily at St Leonards and Randwick and additional opportunities may be available at Ultimo, Enmore and Loftus campuses.
Our Film, TV and Visual Effects teaching sections welcome candidates who have expertise in one or more of the following:
- Editing skills in Avid and Premiere
- Script and screenwriting
- 2 Camera TV and Editing/Multicam
- Knowledge of Adobe products, 3D texturing
- Producing, Pre & Post Production and Production Management
- Animation, VFX Animation, Visual Effects and Motion Graphics
- Nuke, Houdini, ZBrush, Adobe Substance, After Effects
- Lighting (studio and location)
- Directing of actors, First assistant directing, camera assistant
- Short films, Feature films and Documentaries
- Cinematography
You will be responsible for constructing, guiding and enhancing the educational process , delivering educational programs, collaborating with a team of trainers and facilitating learning to enable students to achieve their desired outcomes.
The role of the Teacher involves a broad range of activities which include:
- Providing appropriate variety and flexibility in educational practice
- Contributing to decision making that affects the learning environment
- Participating cooperatively in the development and implementation of agreed quality improvement processes by reflecting on experience and evaluation of processes and program outcomes.
We would love to hear from you if you have…
- Appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications (Degree or Diploma) in Film & Television and an ongoing commitment to maintain technical currency
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the Film & TV or Digital Media Arts industries.
- Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent. If you do not have this, we encourage you to contact us to discuss a pathway toward teaching with us.
- Thorough knowledge and technical expertise relevant to one of the industry areas relevant to industry areas listed above.
