The Role
You'll be responsible for the first line of support, production, maintenance,
repair and QA of the product, as well as other activities including but not limited to logistics, and other warehouse work.
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will work autonomously and as part of the KangaTech team to help produce the award-winning KT360 platform.
This is a full-time on-site role.
What You'll Do
Product assembly & disassemblyPerform mechanical and electronic assembly work as needed for product assembly, repair, and maintenanceIncoming parts inspection & receivingInspect incoming parts to ensure quality and accuracy by engineering specificationsManage the goods-receiving process to maintain an organised inventory systemQA tests of both hardware and softwarePerform weekly QA tests on software and report bugsPerform ongoing QA tests on hardware for assembly, repair and maintenanceConduct functional and aesthetic checks on outgoing goods before shipmentMaintain and update QA documentsInventory monitoring and reportingRecord and update inventory to maintain accurate stock levelsRegularly monitor inventory and generate reports as neededConduct regular inventory audits and stock takeLogistics managementPackage shipments efficiently and organise pickup schedulesMaintain and improve warehouse facilities to ensure a safe and organised working environmentTechnical supportProvide first line of support in both software and hardware to our customers around the globeFile support requests from the field and liaise with internal staff to resolveCreate support documents that are both internal and customer-facing
Requirements
Educational BackgroundBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperienceMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, development, and testing with a proven track record of successTechnical SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawingsAbility to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectivelyFamiliarity with common mechanical tools such as hand drills, torque wrenches, Dremel tools, etcAutonomy and CollaborationDemonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environmentLogistics and SafetyStrong understanding of global logistics principles and practicesKnowledge of general manufacturing safety protocols and proceduresAdministrative SkillsProficiency in using Google Workspace tools such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Gmail for documentation, collaboration, and communication purposes, or equivalent experience in MS Office.
Communication SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills,
with the ability to clearly and effectively convey both technical and non-technical information
