Are you passionate about safety and ready to make a significant impact in a high-risk environment?
We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join our dynamic team and help us maintain our commitment to safety excellence.
About the Role Based at our Otway Gas Plant, located near Port Campbell in southwest Victoria, the Health & Safety Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs, policies,
and procedures to minimise risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
You will provide support to the Production, Campaign, and Project teams in the effective implementation of the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System.
Key Responsibilities Implementing and stewarding comprehensive health and safety plans and programs.
Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to manage hazards and risk.
Facilitating risk assessments and implementing controls.
Leading incident investigations and ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
Collaborating with management to promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
Staying updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices.

You will need:
Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety, as a minimum.
Health & Safety experience, in oil and gas or similar high-risk industry.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the current WHS legislation, regulations, Australian Standards, and codes of practice.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in challenging environments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
