Department Purpose
We are currently looking for paralegals to assist our Antitrust team in Sydney on a casual basis.
Excellent communication, professionalism and interpersonal skills are essential. The successful candidate will be proactive and have a high level of initiative. In addition, the candidate must have a sound working knowledge of Excel and Word and will ideally have some prior experience of working in a legal environment.
Only applicants in their second year onwards of their law degree with strong excellent academics will be considered - please ensure you attach a copy of your most recent transcript to your application. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in Australia.
Role and Responsibilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Be proactive and have a high level of initiative.
Sound working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Strong analytical skills.
Prior experience working at another top-tier firm as a paralegal or a summer clerk is highly regarded (desirable).
Key Requirements
Reviewing and summarising documents;
Assisting with the preparation of documents;
Legal research;
Other varied general assistance.
